I opened Soupbox as Icebox in June of 1995 when I was 25 years old. I graduated from UIC and started the business using credit cards -yup yikes! I started by making a product called Icyfruit which is similar to Italian ice, but I made our stuff homemade 100% fresh daily with fresh fruit and nothing else. Thereafter, in October of 1995 we started making healthy yummy soups converting to the name Soupbox. After much "trial and error" I'm proud of our fanatic customer base and our dedicated ultra friendly staff. We're very fortunate to have been recognized with many awards and a lot of media.
Personally, I train for Ironman triathlons and mixed martial arts. I enjoy listening to chill lounge music, reading books that help me improve as a person, and I love just hanging out with my dog named Alfie.
